About Park & A Italia Park & A Italia brings a quaint, rustic Italian dining experience to downtown Idaho Falls — classic dishes made with traditional techniques and authentic recipes, paired with an inviting wine bar and lounge. Guests come to linger over great food and wine, and this role is the friendly first face that makes every visit feel warm and effortless. It's a hands-on, team-oriented position: hosting comes first, and you'll pitch in with food running and bussing as the volume calls for it. What You'll Do
- Greet guests with a warm, genuine welcome and thank them just as sincerely on their way out.
- Manage the reservation book, waitlist, and seating flow across the dining room and wine bar.
- Pitch in running food to tables and bussing during busier shifts to keep service moving.
- Help keep tables cleared and reset so the dining room stays clean and turns are seamless.
- Answer the phone for reservations, online orders, and guest questions.
- Balance seating across server sections to keep both service periods flowing smoothly.
- Keep menus, the entry, and the host stand clean, stocked, and organized.
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience. What We're Looking For
- A friendly, welcoming personality — you enjoy making guests feel taken care of.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, especially during busy shifts.
- Dependability and punctuality, with availability for lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to stay calm, positive, and organized in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Able to stay on your feet, carry trays/plates, and clear tables throughout a shift.
- Prior host, food-running, or restaurant experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person. Why Join Us
