In this lively role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing restaurant reservations and walk-in seating efficiently Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth flow and timely seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to uphold food safety standards and guest comfort Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, resetting tables quickly, and ensuring a tidy dining environment Manage guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details Support guest relations by addressing needs courteously and ensuring positive interactions throughout their visit Use POS systems to update reservation statuses, process takeout orders if applicable, and assist with basic math calculations for billing or tab management Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; experience with restaurant reservation management is a plus Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with POS systems in general is advantageous Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and cleanliness efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and hospitality focus Hospitality or guest services experience that highlights your ability to create positive guest relations Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where every guest feels valued!
