Orchard Valley Golf Course , located in Aurora, IL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Host/Hostess ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$15.00 per hour
Job Summary:
As a Host/Hostess at The Orchard Social, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail will help create a friendly and inviting atmosphere that reflects the high standards of our restaurant and golf course.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests. Maintain a clean and organized entrance and dining area Provide menus and inform guests of specials and promotions. Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism and courtesy Assist with seating and accommodate special requests from guests. Collaborate with the dining staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly. Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of dining etiquette and golf course operations is a plus.
