This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment and can confidently manage guest flow, team coordination, and the overall dining experience. This is a leadership role, requiring strong decision-making, communication, and the ability to manage both floor operations and guest seating strategy during high-volume weekend service. Key Responsibilities Oversee FOH operations during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday), ensuring smooth and efficient service Manage the host stand and seating strategy, including reservations, walk-ins, and large party coordination Ensure proper table assignments, prioritizing guest experience and operational flow Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns and escalations Lead and support FOH staff, including servers, hosts, and support team members Monitor service pacing and coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams Maintain high standards for hospitality, presentation, and service execution Train and guide hosts and servers on seating flow, guest interaction, and service expectations Assist with opening/closing duties and ensure the dining room is fully prepared for service Qualifications (Required) 2-4+ years of restaurant experience, including lead server, host lead, or FOH supervisory role Strong experience managing reservations and seating flow (OpenTable or similar systems) Proven ability to manage high-volume service while maintaining guest experience Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure Availability to work weekends (required), including evenings and peak hours Preferred Experience Background in upscale, high-volume, or sushi/Japanese dining environments Experience with Toast POS and OpenTable (or similar platforms) Strong understanding of guest experience management and table optimization Working Conditions This role requires standing for extended periods, multitasking in a high-energy environment, and maintaining composure during peak service hours.
