In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your exceptional guest service skills will contribute to a positive dining experience, while your ability to communicate effectively will help manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled in an efficient manner. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant's menu, hours, and reservations. Assist in managing reservations and waitlists using Aloha POS or similar systems. Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, aiming to resolve any issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Support other staff members as needed to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations in a restaurant or hotel setting. Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality that enhances the overall guest experience. Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
