Position Summary The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming first impression for members and guests. This role manages reservations, seating flow, and guest communication to ensure an organized and elevated dining experience. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor Manage reservations and seating using reservation systems (e.g., ForeTees, OpenTable) Maintain accurate wait times and communicate delays clearly Escort guests to tables and present menus when appropriate Coordinate table rotation and seating flow with servers and management Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and take reservations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area Assist with special events, large parties, and member functions Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary Qualifications Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Basic knowledge of reservation systems (or willingness to learn) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 15 lbs (menus, small supplies) Work Environment Fast-paced hospitality setting Frequent interaction with members, guests, and staff High standards of service and professionalism expected Success in This Role Looks Like Guests feel welcomed within seconds of arrival Smooth, balanced seating flow with minimal wait issues Clear communication between front-of-house team members Positive member feedback and repeat visits

Pay Range:
