For nearly 70 years, the Club has provided members with exceptional recreational, social, and community experiences in a relaxed yet refined setting. Our mission is to foster a welcoming environment where members and their families can connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Position Overview Salt Creek Club is seeking an Events Host to join our hospitality and events team. This position supports the Events Coordinator in delivering outstanding member and private event experiences. The Events Host plays a key role in preparing for and executing Club events, ensuring that every detail is managed seamlessly and that members and guests feel welcome and cared for throughout their time on property. The ideal candidate is a warm, organized, and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional hospitality experiences. Responsibilities Serve as the on-site host and main point of contact during Club and private events. Attend event walk-throughs with the Events Coordinator to stay informed on event details and expectations. Remain in the communication loop on all relevant event emails between the Director of Events and clients, and respond promptly and professionally to emails and internal messages as needed. Oversee day-of event setup, coordination, and breakdown as needed, ensuring facilities and décor are prepared and presentation meets event standards. Coordinate with kitchen, maintenance, and other departments as needed to ensure smooth event execution. Greet and assist members, guests, and vendors with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. Monitor event flow and proactively resolve any issues to maintain a positive and memorable experience. Maintain and organize the Club's event supplies, décor, and materials, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and efficiently stored for future use. Support the events and communications team with photos and post-event recaps for social media and member newsletters. Maintain accurate records of event execution and assist in inventory management and ordering when needed. Qualifications Prior hospitality, events, or private club experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills. Professional and polished demeanor with a genuine enthusiasm for member service. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in basic computer and email communication tools. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Club's event calendar. Schedule & Compensation Part-time with potential to become full-time position depending on candidate and seasonal demand.
