Hostess Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing the front-of-house operations. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Additionally, you will handle cashier responsibilities, process transactions accurately using POS systems, and provide exceptional guest service that leaves a lasting positive impression. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times and menu options Process customer payments accurately at the cashier station, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to uphold high standards of hospitality Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate seating flow and ensure timely service for all guests Provide excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest satisfaction Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred but not needed. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous Experience working in hospitality settings like hotels or restaurants is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Knowledge of serving protocols, guest services, and hotel or restaurant operations is beneficial Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences through exceptional hospitality!
