Position:

Head Start Preschool Teacher What You'll Do:

Create a nurturing classroom environment for children, parents, and staff. Foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth through engaging activities. Collaborate with a dynamic teaching team to plan and implement lesson plans tailored to each child's needs. Partner with parents to assess children's progress and set personalized goals. Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and maintain a well-organized classroom. Organize educational field trips and maintain ongoing communication with families. Welcome volunteers and document their contributions to enhance our curriculum.

What We're Looking For:

An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with 21 hours of ECE coursework. Experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus! Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Must pass background checks and drug testing.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to engage actively with children, including bending, lifting (30-50 lbs.), and working in a lively environment.
