Join our dynamic team as a Host/Cashier, where you'll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you'll coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth table turnover while providing exceptional customer service. As a cashier, you'll handle transactions accurately and efficiently using our restaurant POS (Point of Sale) systems, contributing to a seamless dining experience. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help foster a hospitable environment that keeps guests coming back! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant reservation management systems Seat guests promptly, coordinate table assignments, and monitor wait times to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or menu options Manage guest seating and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate table status updates Process all transactions accurately at the POS system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand area and ensure compliance with food safety standards Provide excellent guest services by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Experience in serving or guest relations is a plus but not required Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality by combining your passion for food service with your knack for organization!
