In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and hospitality expertise will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, providing a warm welcome as they arrive. Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about the restaurant's offerings and reservation policies. Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure smooth seating flow and optimal guest experience during busy weekends. Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences to enhance satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and waiting area to uphold a professional appearance. Support team members by providing excellent guest relations, ensuring every visitor feels appreciated and well cared for. Requirements Prior host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork.
