As a Host, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow within the restaurant or hospitality environment. Experience with the OpenTable reservations system is preferred. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for exceptional guest service, making every visitor feel valued and comfortable. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest seating Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and courteous phone etiquette Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and facilitating smooth operations Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest relations Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required Demonstrated professionalism with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Join us as a Host and be part of an energetic team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
