Job Summary

• Part Time Day Host position at J's at Nashoba Valley Winery for shifts available Wednesday to Saturday from 10:30 am to 3:30 PM. Must be available weekends. This is not a position for summer hires.

• Overview:

• Join our team at Nashoba Valley Winery as a Host in our elegant farmhouse Js restaurant. We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and multi-tasking individual to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
• Assist with seating arrangements and flow of the dining area
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with tact and professionalism
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

• Qualifications:

• Friendly, outgoing, and personable demeanor
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
