Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Host-Hostess, where your vibrant personality and exceptional organizational skills will create memorable first impressions for our guests. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, and ensuring a seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and excited to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive guest services to foster a positive first impression. Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including booking, confirming, and adjusting reservations to optimize seating arrangements. Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth flow and timely seating while maintaining clear communication with the service team. Handle phone communications professionally, answering inquiries about reservations, wait times, and general information with courteous and clear communication skills. Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to track seating availability and guest flow effectively. Support food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness protocols in the host station and surrounding areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure guest relations are prioritized, resolving any concerns promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred. Strong restaurant reservation management skills using systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. Excellent communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette and guest relations focus. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills. Basic math proficiency for managing seating counts and reservation adjustments accurately. Food service experience is a plus, providing insight into restaurant operations and guest expectations. Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant table management software is desirable. $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
