Job Description
A well-established salon in Charlestown is looking for one person to run our front desk five days a week. This is the role the whole day depends on, and we are hiring for it properly: a fixed weekly schedule, real pay, and a monthly bonus tied to results you control.
WHAT YOU WOULD OWN
The guest experience — greeting everyone who walks in, offering a drink, keeping things calm when the waiting area is full and the phone is ringing. The book — scheduling, rescheduling, and checking guests out in our booking system. Rebooking — every guest leaves with their next appointment on the books. This is the biggest thing this role moves. Client follow-up — confirmation texts, cancellation follow-up, and a weekly pass at clients we have not seen in a few months. Retail — recommending the products your stylist just used, inventory counts, keeping the shelves full. Opening and closing — cash drawer, front of house, end-of-day reporting.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Genuinely warm with people, and steady when it gets busy. Organized enough to hold five things at once without dropping one. Comfortable learning software — we will train you on our booking system. Available five days a week including Saturdays, and two evenings. Comfortable calling and texting our own clients (this is not cold sales). Reliable. Salon, spa, restaurant host, hotel front desk, or retail experience is a plus. None of it is required — we will train the right person.WHAT WE OFFER 35
to 40 hours per week, $20 to $23 per hour depending on experience, paid biweekly. A monthly performance bonus tied to rebooking and retail. A fixed weekly schedule — same days, same hours, every week, no rotating shifts. Employee discount on services and products. Free parking. A small team where your work is visible and your ideas get tried. We are an equal opportunity employer.Pay:
