The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient seating and excellent customer service. This role is essential in maintaining guest satisfaction and enhancing the overall dining experience. Working time is Monday to Thursday 4:00-9:30, Friday 4:00-10:00, Saturday 3:30-10:00, Sunday 3:30-9:30. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with a pleasant first impression of the restaurant. Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to ensure optimal flow and service. Communicate wait times accurately to guests and keep them informed of their seating status. Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. Utilize POS to manage reservations and track guest preferences. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand. Handle guest relations issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution to any concerns. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding guest services. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
