Job Description

As a Host, a typical day might include the following: Greeting guests with a welcoming smile and providing them with fast, friendly service Assigning and escorting guests to their tables Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to company guidelines Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner Working well with others as you will be working with other hosts, servers, bartenders, support and management Remembering guest's names and utilizing them when appropriate Building guest loyalty Maintaining a clean and stocked work area Other duties as assigned This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: At least 1 year previous hosting experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant A neat and professional appearance Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers Ability to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members Must have a friendly and welcoming demeanor, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques and withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high energy environment This is a part-time position that requires non-typical hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
