In this lively role, you will create a positive and memorable experience by greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth guest flow. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional visit, making guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Duties Warmly greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and guest seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information or directing inquiries appropriately Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring clear communication about wait times, menu options, or special requests Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow and satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to promote a welcoming atmosphere Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest experience Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess, or in food service or hospitality preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and friendly demeanor at all times Experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous but not required Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality talents can shine!
