Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel comfortable and appreciated. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize table turnover. Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about the restaurant's offerings and wait times. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and timely seating of guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times. Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences whenever possible. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction. Skills Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of restaurant operations, food service etiquette, and hospitality standards. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
