Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring timely seating for all guests. Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and taking reservations as needed. Support serving staff during peak hours by assisting with guest needs. Requirements Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable, including hotel experience if applicable. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
