Fireside Tavern Sherborn is a culinary destination located in the MetroWest area of Boston that opened in May 2024. The tavern offers a unique dining experience, blending classic American flavors with innovative twists. We are dedicated to providing our patrons with exceptional service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Looking for someone 2 evenings a week. Start time is 4:15 pm. As a greeter & host at Fireside Tavern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service throughout their dining experience. The Fireside Tavern Sherborn Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Operate Toast Tables to manage seating and reservations Take to go food and beverage orders via phone and walk -in Process payments for to go food accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care. Monitor the dining area to ensure bussers know when to flip tables and ensure cleanliness and ambiance, and assist servers when needed with pre-watering tables. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, greeter desk.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for processing payments and making change. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
