Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an expierienced energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. Your friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and ability to manage reservations efficiently will set the tone for an exceptional guest journey. This is not a sesonal job and you must be able to work weekends and holidays. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle restaurant reservation management using our table management systems, ensuring optimal seating flow Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations accurately Maintain organized waitlists and coordinate seating to maximize efficiency during busy hours Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously Support food service staff by communicating guest needs clearly and efficiently, and bussing tables. Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host/hostess station and waiting areas Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or food service experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for managing reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during peak hours Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards in a restaurant setting Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette at all times Guest services mindset with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
