$17.00-19.00 per hour (will commensurate with experience)Core Functions:
As a host/hostess, it will be your mission at Jerk@Nite to provide a warm and friendly welcome when guests arrive or call in with questions. You'll make sure guests who are waiting to be seated are made comfortable, informed, and feel taken care of. You'll also be a part of and contribute to our positive work culture. Candidates for this position must be personable, with a talent for administering customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of aCustomer Service Enthusiast:
- Greets all customers politely and with a smile when they enter the restaurant.
- Friendly and inviting in person and over the phone
- Able to manage guest seating and wait times
- Team player; you have your team's back, and they have yours
- Ability to learn quickly and be flexible
- A good sense of humor
- Listens to and resolves customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
- Keeps the counter and dining area neat and clean.
- Sweeps and mops the FOH area floor regularly throughout the shift.
- Restocks napkins, drinks, desserts, and other supplies in the dining area.
- Inventories supplies and goods with front of house supervising manager, when necessary.
