Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, including taking reservations and providing wait times Maintain organized waitlists and communicate estimated wait times effectively Assist with restaurant table management using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Ensure adherence to food safety standards and uphold cleanliness in the host/hostess area Collaborate with the dining team to ensure efficient seating arrangements during busy periods Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems (e.g., Aloha POS, Micros POS) is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and proper guest service protocols Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in hospitality or guest services will be considered an asset Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest service!
