Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patrons, responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the seating chart and reservations effectively to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS) to manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Provide support during busy times to enhance guest relations and service quality. Skills Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally. Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Familiarity with food service operations and guest services is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
