Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Hostess/Host. As a Hostess/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menu
- Manage waitlists and ensure timely seating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and efficiency
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
