Role:
As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere that sets the tone for their entire experience. Your role is crucial in managing guest flow, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring efficient service delivery. You will handle reservations, greet and seat guests promptly, and address any initial inquiries or concerns with professionalism and warmth. By maintaining clear communication with the service team, you will help optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to a memorable and seamless dining or event experience for all patrons.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest lists.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or event hosting environment. Familiarity with reservation management software. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Certification in hospitality or customer service training.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the waiting list or reservations efficiently. Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize space utilization while accommodating guest preferences. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any initial concerns promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area.
