Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate table assignments efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, takeout orders and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette Maintain guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service and addressing any special requests or concerns promptly Support food service staff by ensuring tables are prepared and cleared quickly, adhering to food safety standards Organize waitlists and communicate wait times accurately to guests, ensuring a positive guest experience even during busy periods Use organizational skills to keep the host station tidy and ensure all reservation and seating records are up-to-date Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members Experience with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and transaction processing Knowledge of phone communication best practices and phone etiquette to create a welcoming atmosphere over the phone Familiarity with POS systems used in restaurants, including Micros POS or similar platforms Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Understanding of food safety standards and guest relations principles to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a genuine passion for guest services is key Join us in creating memorable dining moments by providing exceptional guest services in a lively, energetic environment.
