What You'll Do Welcome guests warmly and create a polished first impression Manage reservations, waitlists, guest profiles and table assignments through OpenTable Review and communicate special requests, celebrations and seating preferences Balance reservations, walk-ins and server sections to support smooth dining room flow Answer phones and assist with reservations, restaurant information and guest questions Recognize returning guests and help personalize their experience Coordinate closely with servers, bussers and managers to seat guests efficiently Maintain a clean, organized and professional host stand and entrance Who We're Looking For Previous host, receptionist, customer-service or restaurant experience required Experience using OpenTable or another reservation-management platform is highly valued A polished appearance and professional, welcoming demeanor Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills Comfort answering phones and communicating with guests in person and over the phone The ability to remain calm, gracious and organized during busy dinner services Sound judgment when balancing reservations, walk-ins and special seating requests A dependable, team-oriented attitude Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays Upscale or full-service restaurant experience is highly valued, but we also welcome candidates with strong customer-service skills who are eager to grow in hospitality.
