Restaurant General Manager Summary :
A Host greets guests, takes reservations, manages waiting lists, escorts guests to tables and presents menus. They also handle phone calls and questions about the restaurant and menu as well as taking to go orders and assisting with bussing or serving duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests Escort to tables or place on waiting list Provide menus and answer initial questions Answer phone calls regarding questions about the restaurant and menu Take reservations and assign guests to tables keeping rotation in mind for servers Take to go orders and prepare for pick up Assist with bussing or serving duties as needed Clean work areas, sinks, counters, display, buffet, tables, chairs and other equipment Stock server stations with supplies Empty wastebaskets and remove trash Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
