Manage restaurant reservation systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements. Coordinate seating plans efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle guest requests with clear communication. Maintain organized waitlists, monitor table status, and communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff. Uphold food safety standards by ensuring proper handling of menus and maintaining cleanliness in the host area. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations. Experience with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting confidently with guests, team members, and management. Basic math skills are necessary for managing waitlists, seating calculations, and POS transactions. Proven organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods. Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and food safety protocols enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
