Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are set up appropriately for incoming guests. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Utilize POS systems effectively to manage orders and reservations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, and Open Table. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others.
