As a Host/Serving Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant, with opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry. and become a vital part of our dedicated team!

Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up tables and preparing the dining area for service Clear tables promptly and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized environment Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus. Maintain accurate waitlist and seating arrangements. Assist in answering phone calls and making reservations. Communicate effectively with guests, servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, restrooms, and lobby area. Assist in other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food-handling procedures Must be able to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors A positive attitude and willingness to learn A sense of urgency Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
