Job Overview Looking for every other Wednesday AM & every Tue/Thurs/Fri AM. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions accurately while maintaining a positive guest experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage waiting list and maintain an organized seating chart. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking bakery orders or to-go's as needed. Process customer transactions efficiently using the Toast POS system. Assist with menu inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, fostering positive guest relations. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and enhancing guest experiences.
