Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, restaurant policies, and services. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering questions with excellent phone etiquette. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the host/host station. Handle merchandise sales. Experience Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of the hospitality industry. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
