Minsky's Pizza (Southwest Boulevard) is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable Host/Cashier to join our outstanding Front of House team. Our Host/Cashiers are one of the most critical roles in our restaurant, as they make the first and last impression on our valued guests. Those impressions are what enable us to continue to be the award-winning establishment our guests have come to know and love. Key Responsibilities -
Order Taking & Processing:
Answer phones with energy & enthusiasm, take carry-out and delivery orders accurately, and ensure all customer requests are correctly entered into our POS (point-of-sale) system.
Cash Handling & Transactions:
Efficiently process all customer payments (cash, credit/debit, gift cards, etc.), manage the cash register, maintain organized merchant copies of tickets, and enter tips accurately.
Customer Service & Hosting:
Greet customers warmly as they enter & exit, assist with seating or directing guests, assist with putting tables together for larger parties, perform curbside service, and answer any menu-related questions.
Support & Teamwork:
Assist servers and kitchen staff by organizing carry-out orders and keeping the expo window clear, as well as occasionally running food and helping with tables.
Maintain Cleanliness:
Participate in light cleaning duties to help maintain a clean and organized front counter and lobby. Qualifications - Previous experience as a Cashier, Host, OR in a fast-paced customer service role is a plus. Strong basic math skills and experience with cash handling and POS or Windows systems are preferred. Exceptional phone etiquette and clear, professional verbal communication skills. A positive, energetic, and engaging attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Reliable attendance and a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 16 years of age or older.
