Hostess/Busser Bogey Hills Country Club Saint Charles, MO Job Details Part-time $14 - $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bussing Cash register Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize the dining experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations. Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff. Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area. Maintain a clean and orderly environment by regularly cleaning tables, floors, and side stations. Serves water as members and guests are seated. Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dish-washing area. Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen. Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items. Collects trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period. Dusts chairs before and after meals. Keeps ice bins and buckets filled. Cleans and stores child high chairs and booster seats. Performs other appropriate duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to enhance guest experiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and helping others is essential for success in this role.
