Part-Time Host

Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be 18 or older Must have reliable transportation and phone Must have black slip-resistant shoes and black-only attire Must have Hepatitis A Vaccine Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays. Shifts start at 3:55pm and are about 5-6 hours depending on the day. The host will be responsible for greeting guests at the door, seating guests according to the appropriate server as well as placing and checking out carry out orders. Chao Baan in Thai means "of the people" and specializes in authentic homestyle Thai food with Northern and Southern Thai influences. We are looking for passionate workers who are motivated to work as a team and offer genuine hospitality to bring our authentic homestyle dining experience full circle. Our service standards are designed to be a great balance of formal yet relaxed and high volume yet intimate in order to maximize guest experience of the concept that we are bringing to the St. Louis restaurant market. We will focus on fast paced and shorter shifts during dinner and lunch to best serve the Grove, Cortex and St. Louis market that we are squarely situated in. A minimum of one year of restaurant experience is preferred but not necessary if the right candidate is willing to learn and grow on our team.
