Host/Hostess

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests while minimizing wait times. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest needs. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Provide support during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service throughout the dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
