Mad Science Lab - 1019 Passport Way, Cary, NC 27513 Mad Science is looking for a reliable, friendly Party Host to help make our birthday parties run smoothly at our Cary lab. You won't be leading the science show — you'll be the friendly face ensuring everything behind the scenes goes right so our instructors and guests can focus on fun.

What You'll Do:

Open and prep the lab before the first party (lights, music, cleaning, refills, signage) Welcome guests and answer questions from parents and party families Assist with table setup for food, gifts, and decorations Keep the space tidy during parties — wiping surfaces, taking out trash, and restocking Reset and clean between parties to keep things on schedule Handle final checkout and payments from parents Close and sanitize the lab at the end of the day

What We're Looking For:

Friendly and professional with both kids and adults Punctual, organized, and comfortable working from a checklist Enjoys keeping things clean, orderly, and running smoothly Able to commit to most weekendsPrevious customer service, food service, or hospitality experience is a plus

Schedule:

Shifts are scheduled based on party bookings. Hours may vary significantly across weekends. Most weekends include 3-7 shifts , each about 3 hours long , within these time ranges:

Saturdays:

9:30am-9:30pm

Sundays:

10:30am-7:30pm This is a great role for someone who wants flexible, part-time weekend hours with a predictable routine. Schedules are posted at least 2 weeks in advance and often earlier.
