In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, managing guest seating arrangements and efficiently handling cashier responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage guest waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently using white board and markers. Handle cashier duties accurately, processing orders and payments with attention to detail Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, reservations, or general hotel services Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries Ensure cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and cashier area to promote a welcoming environment Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Strong background in food service and guest relations, demonstrating excellent communication skills Familiarity with older style cash registers Experience in customer service roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of serving protocols and guest services to enhance overall guest satisfaction Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster guest loyalty and resolve concerns effectively
