Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, ensuring timely seating for guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Assist in managing phone calls, providing information about the restaurant, and taking reservations when necessary. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
