In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations at the front of house. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help set the tone for a memorable guest experience. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will manage reservations, greet guests, handle transactions, and support overall guest relations to foster a positive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS system Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy Process payments accurately at the cashier station, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to ensure a welcoming environment Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall satisfaction Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience operating POS system Knowledge of restaurant operations, hospitality standards, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for every guest!
