In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will help ensure smooth seating arrangements and efficient cashier operations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, accommodating special requests when possible Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy and professionalism, providing information or assistance as needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Assist with guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests to enhance overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Experience working with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is desirable but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences!
