Full Job Description Host/Cashier Duties:

Randy's University Diner is seeking a full-time host Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is required. Join a great team in a locally owned family business. ASAP:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Manage the waitlist
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
• Operate the POS system to process payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS system is a plus
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong guest relations skills and ability to provide exceptional service
• Basic knowledge of food service procedures
• Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier.
