Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS system Maintain a clean and organized host station, including waiting areas and reservation logs Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest seating and service flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details Take pickup and delivery orders with professionalism Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality environments like hotels or restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
