Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Utilize POS systems, such as Toast, for managing reservations and guest information. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Skills Strong background in food service and hospitality is preferred. Excellent guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Proficient phone etiquette to handle inquiries and reservations efficiently. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus but not required.
