Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess/Host to join our team. As a Hostess/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Be nice, smile. Always strive to exceed guests' expectations. Take names on a waiting list. Run the floor plan board. Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables. Take guest information and quotes wait times, utilizing Tables Ready tablet, to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available. Clean, organize and stock menus at host area. Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant. Interact with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience. Provide room service to guests at Church Landing. Fill to-go orders, via phone calls and Door Dash tablet. Sweep foyer and front entrance area frequently. Perform other duties as directed by Manager on duty.Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest relations and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably
