Job Description
Hours 9AM-3PM Monday through Friday Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will help set the tone for our restaurant, making each guest feel valued and appreciated. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant. Assist with guest inquiries and provide excellent guest services throughout their visit. Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure smooth communication regarding table status and guest needs. Handle any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station. Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings to assist guests effectively. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
