In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your energetic personality and exceptional communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. You'll manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth flow and guest satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our hospitality team, delivering memorable service that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements Coordinate guest seating to optimize restaurant flow and reduce wait times, while accommodating special requests and preferences Answer incoming phone calls with courteous professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu items, or special events Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable Assist with guest inquiries, provide directions within the restaurant, and address any immediate concerns promptly Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in hospitality settings Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Knowledge of serving standards and guest engagement techniques enhances overall performance Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional hospitality from the moment guests walk through our doors.
